Louise is the latest edition to Sylvanvales marketing team, providing administrative support each Thursday. But this is only one of the many things Louise packs into her busy life. Louise took some time out of her full schedule to answer some questions.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, LOUISE?

I work in Sylvanvale’s Marketing team every Thursday. I do lots of things like entering VIP forms, laminating, franking and stuffing envelopes. I also work at Sylvanvale Catering and am about to start working with Jodie at Retail Therapy Vintage & Café in Caringbah.

I really like photography; I take photos of everything. I’m making a recipe book, typing out recipes and baking cakes and decorating them. I love my craft – I’m a crafty person. I do sewing. I’ve done a blanket and patchwork.

I also like going to the library and getting out DVDs and CDS, as well as books. I go to the movies a lot. I’ve seen ‘Beauty and the Beast’ twice. I also really enjoy swimming and going to the gym, doing boxing, bench pressing, weights and cardio. I like bushwalking in the Royal National Park.

I like my fashion and love posing for photos – I love showing off. I like people taking photos of me.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT?

I am a Special Olympics Athlete and Ambassador for Special Olympians. I travel a lot for swimming and went to New Zealand in November 2016 for the Special Olympics. I competed in the Freestyle, Breaststroke, Butterfly and Relay.

HAVE YOU GOT ANY OTHER TRIPS PLANNED?

In June I am going overseas to England, Scotland and France to visit my brother Peter. Peter is overseas for a year in the UK. I’m going to visit him in France with my Mum, Dad and my brother Michael. We’re getting someone to mind our house and my dog Toby.

I’m going to see my first support worker in England, Anna. Anna and her family live in England. I started working with Anna in 2014 and finished in 2015.

WHO IS YOUR SUPPORT WORKER NOW?

My support worker is the famous Dannie. She’s funny, happy and makes me laugh. She likes kids’ music and dancing and doing fun things. She’s also honest and tells the truth. She always checks things with my Mum. Dannie was recommended to me by my friend Tara.
