Home Show Performance

home_showSylvanvale’s very own choir the Sylvantones continue to raise their profile with a performance at this years Home Show organised by the St George and Sutherland Shire Leader.

The Sylvantones were joined in their performance by the Sylvanvale Dance Troupe and the Home Show audience was treated to a medley of songs and dances by our very talented performers.

Sandy Wade, Manager said: “The response by the community has been overwhelming, we have received telephone calls, faxes, e-mails and messages all congratulating the choir and dancers on their performance.”

Both groups have also performed for the Gymea Probus Club and recently participated in the Sutherland Shire Council’s Seniors’ Week Arts and Craft Festival where Doug Nicholson, Council Volunteer said: “A big thank you to all the members of the Choir and Dance Troupe, the  performances went fantastically well and I should have had a tape recorder to record all of the delightful comments made to me by the audience and the stall holders on the day.”

We would like to thank our choir teacher, Janette, and our dance instructors, Miss Julie and Miss Rhiannon for volunteering their time on these occasions. Also we would like to thank our choir and dance members for their continued dedication to good performances.
