Sylvanvale has recently entered into an innovative collaboration with Enliven Housing, to provide Community Cooperative Support at The Wave apartments in Rockdale.
Enliven, a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) housing provider, delivers high quality housing and tenancy management services for people with a disability. Its SDA model is based on a Community Cooperative where members share onsite on-call support. Enliven has brought to market ten individual SDA apartments at The Wave, where participants can live independently, or with someone of their choosing.
Sylvanvale Community Cooperative Support is a great way for participants to get the most from their NDIS Core Support budget because they have the opportunity to optimise shared support with other residents in the SDA complex.
Architecturally stunning, The Wave is a landmark residence with water and city views, positioned close to the train station and just 11km from the Sydney CBD. Each apartment is generous in size, with structural provisions for ceiling hoists, assistive technology ready and automatic door operators. There are eight apartments which are NDIS SDA enrolled as High Physical Support and two as Improved Liveability.
Residents are scheduled to start moving into The Wave from late September 2021.
