Specialist Disability Accommodation
Specialist Disability Accommodation is housing that has been specifically designed for people with high support needs. Some people don’t meet the requirements for SDA funding. Those individuals may however be funded for Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports.
Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a shared living experience for people with disability who have SIL funding in their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan. Supports are often 24/7, nurturing personal growth in a safe and supportive environment with the goal to build independence at home and connect the participant with their local community.
