Loftus Respite Revamp Gives Great Guest Experience
Loftus Short Term Accommodation has been receiving lots of positive feedback since the new-look service reopened in December 2020.
Guests and their families have been praising the appearance of the newly renovated house, which underwent significant upgrades while it was closed due to COVID last year. All the bedrooms have been freshly painted, the hoists updated, and there is new bedding, towels and furniture. The site has even more exciting plans in store – including a new sensory room and additional new furniture.
Visitors to the site have also been enjoying all the magic touches the team has been putting into place. Rooms are nicely presented with towels rolled up in a spa-inspired arrangement, and guests are encouraged to select their own bedspread for their stay.
Available to adults with a disability, Loftus Respite offers 24 hour support by trained support workers in a modern accessible home. Guests enjoy a bright and roomy house, and spacious outdoor areas that include a fully accessible swimming pool, in-ground trampoline and swinging chairs. They also have access to PlayStation 3, iPads, Netflix and Stan.
The team at Loftus is focused on providing a customer-directed service that supports each person as an individual to achieve their goals and exercise choice and control. From the initial planning to service delivery, the guest guides the service to suit their needs.
Site Manager, Daniel Hunt, is proud of the site and the service his team provides, “We are very excited about our new-look Loftus Respite, which offers a great place for guests to enjoy some time away. Our team works harmoniously together with the same goal of providing a high standard of person-centred support.”
