DONATE TO RETAIL THERAPY
While we don’t like saying no to your generous offers for clothing and household goods due to lack of storage there are restrictions on what we can and cannot accept. We only accept good quality items! When we say good quality, we use the ‘would you give this to your best friend to use’ rule.
We accept good quality new or near-new clean, wearable clothes, accessories and toys. Items with original tags or little wear and tear sell at higher price, helping us to raise more funds for Sylvanvale programs. Acceptable products include men's, women's and children's clothes and accessories such as shoes and handbags that you would wear again.
We are unable to accept broken or damaged items, or clothing with broken zippers or stains.
When to donate:
It’s best to deliver your donation when the shop is open. Leaving donations outside a shop or on the street means they can get damaged by rain or rummaged through and soiled or broken so we can’t sell them.
