We are very excited that our Sutherland Community Hub is a recipient of this year’s Sutherland Shire Council Community Grants and Subsidies Program.
Sutherland Community Hub offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities in a centre-based environment. It includes designated areas for specific types of activities, including a sensory garden, sensory room, ball pit, dance/Zumba area, as well as a puzzle and quiet zone. Its broad range of activities promote choice and independence.
The grant we’ve won will fund new accessible furniture that will increase participation and provide more opportunities for people with disability at the hub.
