Caringbah Craft Centre is the Sutherland Shire’s best kept secret; a wonderful community hub where people with disability hand-make beautiful, vintage inspired wooden toys.
A multi-award winning Sylvanvale social enterprise, we also employ qualified tradespeople and engage with local volunteers to build wooden products that are sold to the public. All funds raised from the centre’s proceeds go to supporting people with a disability to live, work and participate in the community as they choose.
Our quality timber products are a favourite of childcare centres and parents as our toys are built specifically to increase fine motor skills, cognitive development and promote an active, healthy lifestyle.
Physiotherapists and allied health professionals also seek us out to make custom therapeutic products for their patients on a regular basis. Our talented staff not only are experienced craftspeople, but have a unique understanding of the needs of people requiring these supports.
