Sylvanvale’s 75th year celebrations are going strong!

Our Executive Team and senior managers are currently visiting all of our participants and staff at each ofour 43 sites, bringing special Sylvanvale 75th anniversary cookies and planting a commemorative Australian native tree.
We are extremely grateful to Sutherland Shire Council for donating the stunning trees to us. The very catalyst for the existence of Sylvanvale was a survey conducted by the Sutherland Shire Council early on in 1947, which showed that at that time there were no supports in the local community for children with disability and their families.
Photo Gallery
We were thrilled to launch a photo gallery on our website in February 2023, to share memories from the past and help preserve our proud history for the future.
If you’ve not already done so, we would love you to add to our gallery by submitting your own Sylvanvale-related photos online. If your photo is published on the page, you’ll receive a 75th anniversary edition mini robot and packet of Coriander, Marigold and Sunflower seeds.* Hurry! You have until the end of March 2023 to submit your photos, with the gift giveaway finishing at 11:59pm on Friday 31 March 2023.

Photos must be submitted electronically via the Sylvanvale website.
Scans or photographs of photos may be accepted if quality is reasonable as determined by Sylvanvale.
Entrants must have received appropriate consent in relation to everyone who appears in each photo they submit.
Sylvanvale will decide whether each photo is suitable to publish on its 75th anniversary photo gallery – its decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Sylvanvale reserves the right to remove photographs from the photo gallery.
Entrants must be 18 years or over.
The special 75th anniversary gift giveaway runs from 1 February 2023 to Friday 31 March 2023. Each entrant who submits photo(s) that are uploaded to Sylvanvale’s 75th Anniversary Photo Gallery will be eligible for a maximum of one gift. Gifts are non-negotiable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a gift becomes unavailable for any reason, Sylvanvale reserves the right to substitute the gift.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond Sylvanvale’s reasonable control, Sylvanvale reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the gift giveaway or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
