Creativity takes shape at Caringbah Craft Centre

Caringbah Craft Centre is a place where the people we support are encouraged and empowered to unleash their creativity in ways that they choose.

For some, that means painting or shaping timber. For others, it’s designing funky musical instruments. But for Michael, who studied mathematical physics at university before acquiring a brain injury, creativity comes alive through computers and electronics.

Earlier this year, Michael finished his robot project that was 6 years in the making, and our volunteers at the Centre celebrated by building Michael’s robot a wife.

Michael took some time recently to talk to us about his robot project and share his excitement for his robot’s wife.
