Sylvanvale has been a proud sponsor of the Sutherland Titans Football Club, which caters to junior and senior players living with disabilities from the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas.
Formally established in 2006, the club is grounded in the principle of ‘football for all’, striving to foster inclusivity by actively integrating children with disabilities into mainstream sporting activities.
Each week, The Sutherland Shire Football Association allocates a mainstream team to play against the Titans as part of their season.
While Titans players are encouraged to play independently, where necessary, Titan Buddies accompany them on the field to help guide and encourage players on the field. These Buddies are volunteers from the community who are passionate about supporting people living with disabilities as they participate in sporting activities. Anyone interested in becoming a Titan Buddy just needs a volunteer Working with Children check and can email Buddy coordinator Bronwen at mpio@titansfc.com.au
Sylvanvale’s sponsorship, alongside Tradies, David Stevens Bulk, Scentre Group, and CMC Fitness, helps provide the Titans with essential program costs, including equipment and uniforms, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to participate, grow, and shine on the field .
